AB This study aimed to identify the social factors leading to bullying behavior among middle school students at Ha’il area. The sample of the study included all bullying students in the middle-stage from schools of Ha’il - Directorate of Education. The sample consisted of (131) students chosen from schools at Ha’il area during the academic year 1438/1439h. Social factors scale was built to answer the questions of the study, consisting of (60) paragraphs distributed into five dimensions (factors associated with school’s pattern, factors associated with local community pattern). Tool’s validity and reliability were verified. The researcher used the analytical-descriptive method based on comprehensive social survey, by using social factors scale (developed by the researcher). Results revealed that the average marks of bully students related to social factors leading students to bullying behavior were (2.81) with a medium degree marks. On the dimensions side, the factors related to colleagues pattern has scored the first rank with highest mean (3.21), followed by the factors related to school’s pattern with a mean of (2.91), factors related to local community pattern has scored the third rank with a mean of (2.86), factors related to the student scored the fourth rank with a mean of (2.73), factors related to family pattern scored the least rank with least mean of (2.61). Findings of the study also revealed the availability of social factors, leading second grade students to practice bullying behavior, were more than first and third grade students.
