A1 خليل، إبراهيم الحسين إبراهيم A2 السلولي، مسفر بن سعود AB The study aimed at identifying the level of inclusion of the operation dimension for mathematical power in mathematic textbooks in the upper elementary grade in Saudi Arabia. The study sample consisted of (58) lessons, representing 25% of the whole study population. The study used mixed methods as it is the most suitable methodology for this case. The researchers have constructed a data analysis card and tested its accuracy and consistency. The study reached to several results such as: the indicators of operations standards for mathematical power is ranging between the scores (from none to high), the frequencies of mathematical communication indicators are ranging between (0-71), and the frequencies of mathematical connection are ranging between (2-84), whereas the frequencies of mathematical inference standard are ranging between (2-47). Accordingly, the research has reached to a number of recommendations which are: curricula builders should include authentic issues and examples that are related directly to students life and should consider students interests. In addition to that, they should include an activity or more in each lesson in order to motivate students to come up with solutions, explain them and justify their answers.
