A1 الشرقاوي، صابر محمود AB The skills of self-care and safety skills are the necessary skills that must be acquired by the child in general and mentally handicapped children in a special direction because of the positive impact on the life of the mentally handicapped child and his family, so all the educational and rehabilitation programs offered. For the mentally handicapped of all kinds in the first place to acquire these skills, so the study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a computerized program in the development of the skills of self-care for students of mental disability learning in the schools applied for integration in the Governorate of the Interior Sultanate of Oman, and consists of the community of students of the (210) students of the mental integration enrolled in the schools applied to the program of mental integration in the province of the interior, and the study sample consists of (16) students aged (10:6) years of study sample, divided into two groups of female and experimental, each of them (8) students, and To achieve the goal of the study, a measure of self-care skills was prepared consisting of (24) words divided into three dimensions, a computerized program was prepared for the development of care skills, and confirmed the sincerity and validity of the tool for the application, and the study found the existence of statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between averages Pre-and post-application levels of the experimental group members on all the axes of the self-care measure for the mentally handicapped who are able to learn in favor of dimensional measurement, "as " There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the averages of the experimental group and the group and the officer on all scales Self-care for the mentally handicapped who are able to learn for the experimental group in the dimensional measurement, while there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the experimental group averages on the dimensional and accessory measurement of the self-care measure for the mentally handicapped, who are able to learn Home-based safety skills are centered-eating skills-there are differences in the benefit of the tracking measurement. The study recommends converting academic and life-skills lessons into computerized courses, activating the role of Blackboard in teaching for the mentally handicapped and learning, preparing training courses for teachers and integration instructors in the use of technological means (computer-PC-interactive whiteboard) in teaching. For mentally handicapped persons who are able to learn, training courses are offered to parents of mentally handicapped students in ways in which their children acquire the skills of daily life.
