A1 خصاونة، محمد أحمد سليم A2 الخوالدة، محمد عبد ربه هندي A2 بني حمد، حسان علي عبد الله AB The objective of the study was to examine the effectiveness of a cognitive training program on promoting phonetic awareness skills on acoustic analysis skill among students with verbal dyspraxia in the Najran. The sample of the study consisted of (12) 4th and 5th male and female students selected from schools Najran Directorate of Education. Verbal Dyspraxia scale developed by the researcher along with acoustic Analysis Scale developed by Al Waqfi and Al Kilani (1998) were used for data collection. The experimental control group’s semi-experimental design was used. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences in acoustic analysis skills for experimental and control groups subjects on the post-test means scores, in favor of experimental group students. There were no statistically significant differences in post-test acoustic analysis skills due to the interaction between gender and study group. There were statistically significant differences in acoustic analysis skills for experimental and control groups subjects on the follow-up means scores, in favor of experimental group students.
