A1 صقر، محمد عمر عبد القادر A2 العاجز، فؤاد علي A2 الأغا، محمد عثمان A2 صيام، محمد بدر AB The study aimed to explore the reality of excellence management at Palestinian universities at Gaza governorate and ways to improve it and explored the effect of (university, department, academic degree and years of experiences) on the reality of excellence management. The researcher used the descriptive analytical study design. The sample included all the study population which was 168 of heads of departments at three main Palestinian universities at Gaza (The Islamic university, Al Azhar university and Al Aqsa university). The researcher designed a self-administered questionnaire consisting of 55 questions asking about seven main domains which are (Leadership and management, Strategy, Human resources, Financial and material resources, Operations management, Knowledge and information management, measurement and evaluation the performance results). The main results of the study were: 1) The conclusion of the study showed that the total average of excellence management abundance degree at the Palestinian universities in Gaza Strip in fields of the study instruments of the sample reached 3.62 with a proportion weight 72.46% with great abundance degree. 2) There are differences with a statistic indication at the level α≤0.05 among the estimations of the averages of the persons sample in the excellence management abundance at the Palestinian universities revert to the change of the university (The Islamic- Al Azhar – Al Aqsa university) revert to the interest of the Islamic university. 3) There are no differences with a statistic indications at the level α≤0.05 among the estimations of the averages of the persons sample in the excellence management abundance at the Palestinian universities revert to the changes of the study (department, academic degree and years of experiences). On the light of these conclusions, the researcher came to several recommendations, the most important of them are: 1) The importance of generalizing the concept and the significances of excellence management within the Palestinian universities in order to help the universities to be able to adjust with the modern variables and gaining competitive advantages. 2) Encourage and allow to workers to participate in their strategy plan and will enhance achieving the goals of the university and its strategy. 3) Universities employees should be trained on the excellence management activities.
