Branched the following sub-questions: 1) What is the critical thinking skills necessary to improve for tenth grade students? 2) What are the science processes necessary to improve for tenth grade students. 3) Are there statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group students in the post-practice of critical thinking test? 4) Are there statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group students in the post-practice of science processes test? The researcher followed the experimental method, where the study was applied to a sample of tenth grade students and school was selected in deliberate way, the researcher choose two divisions randomly in Rudolph filter school to represent the study sample it consist of (70) student . after making sure equal the two groups, divided them into two groups, one representing the experimental group which studied by using "thinking maps strategy" and numbered was(35) students, the other is a control group which studied the normal way it numbered (35) students. To achieve the objectives of study, a list of critical thinking was prepared, and a list of science processes, critical thinking test and science processes test, teacher's guide and student’s guide, and after verifying the validity and reliability the test was administered before and after on the two groups of study, the experimental group and the control group, and analyzed the results before and after to identify the significance of differences between the mean scores of the experimental group students and the control group, where the researcher used the (T-test) for two independent samples to compare between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups students as well as the square ETA η² to measure the impact of (thinking) Maps strategy. The results showed: 1) There are significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups students in the post-practice of critical thinking test, for the experimental group. 2) There are significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental and control group students in post-practice of science processes test, for the experimental group. In light of the results, researcher recommended of using thinking maps strategy In teaching science curriculum, and preparing leaflets and holding training courses for teachers in this area and the need to urge teachers to employ modern strategies in teaching and the need to train students to Critical Thinking Skills and processes of science and employ other strategies to develop this skills.
