A1 العنزي، عبد العزيز سامي A2 الزعبي، ميسون طلاع A2 الخوالدة، تيسير محمد A2 الحراحشة، محمد عبود A2 بدح، أحمد AB هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى دور الإدارات المدرسية في دولة الكويت في مواجهة مخاطر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في المدارس الثانوية بمنطقة الجهراء التعليمية، وتعرف ما إذا كان هنالك فروق بين استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة وفقاً لمتغير الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة، وتم اختيار عينة بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة مكونة من 500 معلم ومعلمة، تم توزيع أداة الدراسة عليهم، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة تقدير معلمي ومعلمات المدارس الثانوية في منطقة الجهراء التعليمية لدور الإدارات المدرسية في دولة الكويت في مواجهة مخاطر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لتقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة لدور الإدارات المدرسية في دولة الكويت في مواجهة مخاطر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي تعزى لمتغير الجنس، ومتغير سنوات الخبرة، عند مجالي التحذير من سلبيات وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، ودور الإدارة المدرسية في الاستفادة من وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لتقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة نحو أساليب الإدارة المدرسية في مواجهة مخاطر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي تعزى لمتغير سنوات الخبرة، وجاءت الفروق لصالح ذوي الخبرة (أكثر من 10 سنوات). وأوصت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات منها تعزيز دور الإدارات المدرسية في مواجهة مخاطر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي من خلال إيجاد استراتيجية لتفعيل دورهم بالتعاون مع وسائل الإعلام والأسرة والمعلمين، وتعاون الإدارات المدرسية مع المرشد التربوي لعمل حملات توعية للطلبة للآثار السلبية لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي على الطلبة وعلى تحصيلهم الدراسي.
