AB This research article aims at exploring the Influence of the strategy of verbal questions with various knowledge levels and the lengthening of waiting time on the acquisition of the physics subject- matter and decreasing of fourth-year female students - scientific branch. The article was guided by two Nil hypotheses; 1) There is no statistically significant difference in the mean values 0.05 of the scores obtained by the members of the experimental group in which this strategy was applied and those of the control group who were taught in the traditional teaching method in their achievement test. 2) There is no statistically significant difference in the mean values 0.05 of the scores obtained by the members of the experimental group in which this strategy was implemented and those of the control group who were taught in the traditional teaching method in anxiety levels. The researcher chose an experimental methodology with partial control. The researcher randomly selected AlZawraa Secondary school for girls among other schools in the centre of the Province of Missan. Two sections among the existing four sections were randomly selected. 60 fourth year female students were the sample of the study. The study was conducted over the duration of 10 weeks in the first term of the academic year2016-2017. The first four chapters of the textbook of physics were covered.
