A2 حمزة، أوراس عبد الزهره AB Many questions came into the researcher throughout his artistic knowledge at the level of artistic products particularly music represented by the questions which were created by the researcher for the power of music and its emotional effect on the human especially when the researcher worked in academic operas. This research consisted of four chapters. Chapter One comprised research problem which was focuced on the following question - what was the academic function of the music in the displays of opera? The current research had focused on the important of the study of educational music act in the shows of academic opera due to its important in delivering the educational and aesthetic values to the recipient (student) as well as its role in the construction and preparation of educational structure. The aim of this study was to identify the educational function of the music in the displays of opera. This research limited temporally to 2010, spatially to Babylon governorate, while the topical limit was the study of the function of educational music in the academic opera. Chapter two had dealt with two levels, the first one (concept of musical education) and the second one came under the name of (the educational function of academic opera) this chapter ends with indicators of theoretical frame. Chapter three regulated research methodology, the data of the research, and the instruments of analysis. it ended with the analysis of the "read operetta". Chapter four contained the findings of this research, the most important findings were: 1) The music in the data analysis had engaged to the spiritual world since it related to the social world because it touched the world in direct way and its ability to portray the daily events of social life particularly its ability to raise subjects of self and feeling. 2) The music in the analyzed sample had regarded as an instrument to create the spirited for the students plus its direct impact in temper and the improvement of the body and the mind and thus creating a balanced human being. 3) It recognized as a sorucce of happiness throughout its ability to enable students to integrate and express themselves. also this chapter had contained conclusion, recommendations, proposals, and lists of sources and references.
