AB The study aim to shed light on the subject of educational achievement of the residents of Al Hashimia district, in an attempt to identify the positive and negative aspects in it، and put it in the hands of the officials for the purpose of benefiting from it to develop future plans The researcher is convinced of the importance of this subject and stressed that the high level of science of the population plays a key role in promoting comprehensive development which is of great importance at the current stage، which was the reason for choosing this topic for research and study. The study examined the study of the concept of education and its importance، and then the study of the variation of the educational achievement of the Hashemite district residents in terms of its administrative units and the level of the environment as well as the differences between male and female. The percentage of illiteracy was 24.1% for the whole study area، and it is observed in rural areas compared to urban areas in all administrative units. The percentage of females in rural areas is higher than that of males. Certificate Primary Record (33.5%) This percentage also varies between rural and urban areas. The percentage of holders of certificates intermediate، secondary، vocational is lower than primary due to economic and social reasons both. The study also showed that there was a large disparity between female and male education، which was in favor of males in all administrative units starting from the elementary to the university levels.
