A2 القحطاني، ثابت بن سعيد آل كحلان AB The search aims to demonstrate the obstacles that prevent the application of (stem) in teaching mathematics in Middle School from the teacher' and supervisors ' point of view. The researcher used the descriptive method and questionnaire as search tool. The search sample consisted of (103) mathematics teachers and supervisors in the middle school in Asir region; was selected randomly during the second semester of the year 1437H/1438H , and to collect the date , the questionnaire had been verified. The results revealed the obstacles that prevent the application of (stem) in teaching mathematics in the middleschool. which are: The tool: (0.98) general average – high rating, at the axes level; the second axe obstacles related to the student ) got the highest general average (3.16) ranking the first place among the obstacles followed by the fourth axe (content obstacles) (3.01), the third rank is (obstacles related to the teacher ) (2.86) and finally the third axe : (obstacles related to the class environment ) (2.85). Some recommendations and results have been submitted in the light of these results.
