AB This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Riyadh’s Kindergarten teachers’ training center course and to explore some of the major obstacles that limit its effectiveness. The study was conducted in Riyadh city and used the descriptive method. The population was comprised of forty-six participants: trainers, trainees and employees of the training center, teachers and kindergarten principals. Instruments used in this study to collect information and data are a questionnaire, trainees’ assessment form and preschool mangers’ interviews. The study found that Riyadh’s Kindergarten teachers training center provides guidelines to deal with behavioral problems in classroom, and helps in improving the skills related develop positive values and attitudes among kindergarten children. Additionally, the training courses contribute to identify the characteristics growth of kindergarten children. Also the results showed that there is a correlation between the training courses and the future of trainees’ career. Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that the center achieves the goals that have been created for it, however the center targeted public kindergarten teachers. In order to achieve maximum benefits, the center should remove all the obstacles that prevent private kindergarten teachers form joining the center. The study recommended developing more training methods at the center and facilitating private preschool teachers to join the training program.
