AB The present study aimed at finding out the effectiveness of a brain-based learning program in teaching psychology for the acquisition of its concepts and for the development of problem solving skills for a sample of secondary school female students in Egypt. A unit of "Motives and Emotions" had been developed in light of brain-based learning in the form of a student book and a teacher's guide. A test of concepts of psychology was used besides a problemsolving scale. The sample of the study consisted of 80 female students enrolled at New- Minia Secondary school. 40 students for the experimental group and 40 others for the control group. Pre-testing was conducted on both groups then the experimental group was taught using the suggested program which was based on brain-based learning while the control group was taught using the conventional method of teaching. Post testing was conducted on both groups.
