A1 عسيري، إبراهيم مفرح معدي AB The goal of this study is to identify the relationship between social anxiety and nonsense thoughts for secondary school students in Rijal Alma province within four demographic variables. The study sample consisted of (163) students, the researcher used the social anxiety scale by Raulin& Wee (1994) and the nonsense thoughts scale by S. Hooper & C. layne (1983), the conclusion was: - There is an associated extrusive relationship between social anxiety and nonsense thoughts. - There aren’t any indicative statistical differences in social anxiety caused by major, mother’s duty, birth order, economic level. - There aren’t any indicative statistical differences in the nonsense thoughts and their dimensions caused by A) major. B) mother’s duty. C) birth order except after looking for personal perfection there, we found some indicative differences for the first born. D) economic level except after feeling of disability there we found indicative differences for those with medium and high economic level. We can expect the social anxiety from the overall degree of nonsense thoughts and the dimensions of looking for perfect solutions and avoiding troubles.
