A2 أبو دنيا، نادية عبده عواض A2 عبد المعطي، محمد السيد AB This study aims at investigating the relationship between self-regulated learning strategies and perceived self-efficacy for preparatory year students and as well as identifying the differences between the preparatory year students at king Saud university in self-regulated learning strategies and perceived self-efficacy according to the different specialization (human - scientific),the sample consisted of (148 ) male students in preparatory year students in both the scientific and the human specialization among an average age of (19,236) and a standard deviation ( 7.515 ),to collect the data, two scales were used including a scale of self-regulated learning ( Ibrahim Abdullah al-Husinan ,2010 ) and a scale of perceived self-efficacy ( Ahlam Hassan & Adel Kareem ,2005 ) after rationing scales , the results of the study revealed that there were statistically significant relationship between self-regulated learning strategies and perceived self-efficacy for preparatory year students , besides that, the results have not showed differences between the preparatory year students at king Saud university in self-regulated learning strategies and self-according to the different specialization (human - scientific), and the results have not showed differences between the preparatory year students at king Saud university in perceived self-efficacy according to the difference in specialization (humanist - scientific).
