A1 الشمري، ثاني حسين خاجي A2 رشيد، محمد عبد الكريم AB This paper aims at identifying the effect of scientific stations and Wheatley stations on the achievement of fourth intermediate students-literary branch in mathematics and improving their inclinations towards it. Sample of the study comprises (76) fourth intermediate-literary branch male students in Alqurtubi high school in Khalis city/ Diyala province for the academic year 2013-2014. The students are divided into three groups; two experimental and one controlling distributed to (26) students in the first experimental group, (25) in the second experimental and (25) in the controlling group. The two groups are matched in certain variations and the researchers adopted two study tools that are achievement test and inclination towards mathematics scale as well as stating the behavioral objectives in relation to the scientific material, preparing work sheets for the scientific stations in their three different types; the exploration, reading and image stages in addition to setting Wheatley's tasks depending on contents of the text book. Results of the study show that there is a statistically significant difference on the level of (0.05) in favor of the two experimental groups in the achievement and inclination towards mathematics. In continuation of the paper, the two researchers formed a number of recommendations and suggestions.
