AB The main objective of this study was to investigate the possible effects of a training program based on web quests in the development of reading comprehensive skills of high school gifted pupils in al-Qurayyat / kingdom of Saudi Arabia , more specifically, the study sought to determine performance differences between the experimental groups and the control groups . The study’s purposeful sample consisted of sixteen (n=60) of high school gifted pupils in al-Qurayyat. In order to meet the objectives of this study, the study’s experimental group was exposed to 9 training sessions. The training sessions were proceeded by a pretest administered to all groups and followed by a posttest. To answer his questions were used statistical program: statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS) and (MANCOVA) were used. The results of the study revealed statistically significant differences between the performances of the groups based on the results of posttest. The experimental groups’ students outperformed their counterparts from the control groups. In light of the results of the research has been provide some recommendations.
