A1 بوبكر، عائشة. AB The strong presence of the woman in all sectors of employment has had some consequences as she exhausts all her physical and psychological energies. Its social role is basically determined by her work outdoors and may have positive effects, but at the same time may be a cause of loss of her self-respect; for no matter how successful a woman may be in her work, she remains engaged with her traditional roles (as a mother, a spouse or a housewife ). The overlap and conflict among the woman's roles indoors and outdoors may result in psychological pressure which in turn may have bad effects not only on her way of life and health but also on her family and work. The present research aims to study the relationship between roles conflict and stress level. To achieve this, two scales are developed: the first scale measures the roles conflict; the second measures the level of stress. These tools are applied to a sample of 30 teachers (married and have children). The results of the study showed that: 1) there is no significant relationship between roles conflict and the stress level. 2) There is no significant relationship between the stress level and number of children and years of experience.
