A1 العزب، محمد محسن أحمد. A2 بن حسين، عبد العزيز محمد AB The current study aims to reveal the level of violence and academic adjustment of the students at the University of Thamar. It also aims to find out the differences in violence according to gender and specialization, finally the study aims to find out the relationship between violence and academic adjustment among the students of Thamar University. The researcher used the descriptive approach. The study random cluster sample from the students of Thamar University (700 male & female students). The researcher uses the scale of violence for Zinab Shakair and the scale of academic adjustment, for Mohammed Jaafar Jammal al-Liyl. After ensuring their suitability to the Yemeni environment. The study shows there was an average level of violence on all dimensions of violence and the total score of the scale. The results also found that there were a statistically significant differences in the violence due to gender, specialization, in favor of male, and humanities majors. The results also showed no significant effect on the interaction between gender and specialization on violence. The results also revealed a statistically significant negative inverse relationship at (0.005) between each dimension of the violence and the total degree of violence and between each dimension of the university consensus and the total score in the study sample.
