AB The study aimed to identify relationship of performance in portfolio of the two courses (Educational evaluation and Educational psychology) to performance in tests, level of perseverance and cognitive style (rigidity/flexibility), where the study used personal friendship test prepared by (Suwef [1]) for measuring cognitive style (rigidity/flexibility) and level of perseverance prepared by (the researcher). The sample is comprised of 70 students of educational psychology course and 60 students from educational evaluation course for year 1435/1436H and the study has concluded to that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between performance in portfolio and performance in tests of the two courses (educational evaluation and educational psychology), as well there is a statistically significant positive relationship between perseverance and performance in portfolio, while there is no a statistically significant relationship between perseverance and performance in tests, as well as there is no a statistically significant relationship between cognitive style (rigidity/flexibility) and performance in portfolio, however there is statistically significant negative relationship between cognitive style (rigidity/flexibility) and performance in tests. Results have been interpreted in the light of theoretical framework and literature review.
