AB The current study aims to prepare a suggested perception of the training package for secondary school teachers to apply the STEM approach in the light of their training needs. The researcher used the descriptive approach to determine the requirements of applying STEM approach through a questionnaire to identify the training needs of six main areas. A number of needs were formulated for (71) needs falling under six fields (specialization; Planning for STEM education; Implementation for STEM education; Assessment for STEM education; Education technology; and Professional development). Its reliability and stability have been verified. The results of the study showed that there were 33 training needs desirable by the study sample at a high level, and 38 training needs desirable by the sample of the study with a medium degree distributed in the six fields. The study presented a suggested Perception for the package of training programs, including its preliminary points, objectives, nature, a package of training programs, and activation mechanisms of the suggested Perception and how to implement it. In the light of this, a set of recommendations and proposed research were presented.
