A1 محمد، صلاح محمد محمود. AB This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of a training program based on exploration in the development of reflective thinking skills among students. The sample of the study consisted of (14) male and female students of first grade secondary school. The researcher applied to them the pre and post- quasi-experimental method on one group. The study tools were the study program and the measure of reflective thinking. After statistical analysis, the results revealed the effectiveness of the study program in the development of all skills of reflective thinking (Habitual Action - understanding- Reflect - Critical Reflect). Statistical differences were found between the middle ranks of the experimental group grades in the pre and post measurements, the second post-measurement in reflective thinking and its subsidiary skills in favor of the second post-measurement. Whereas there were no differences among them in the skills of routine work and understanding. The results also showed no significant differences between average male and female scores.
