A2 التميمي، وسام نجم محمد AB The present paper deals with the effect of teaching according to Vygotsky's theory on the achievement of second Intermediate pupils in of Arab-Islamic history. The researcher chose an experimental design of partial exacting for two groups: experimental group and control group. The sample of the study consisted of (60) pupils from Al-Rabea' Intermediate school for Boys – Qal'at sikr – Thi- Qar , divided in to 30 pupils on experimental group thought 60 Vygotsky's model , and 30 pupils on the control group thought by the usual method . The two groups were equated in the variables (pupil’s age in months, previous achievement in history,). The first three chapters of the Arab-Islamic text and behavioral goals were formulated according to Blooms classification, which were loo in number. The researcher also prepared teaching plans and a multiple-choice test consisting of 54 items. The Difficulty factor and differential power were identified for the test whose validity was assured using alpha – kronbach method statistical Analysis of data by the T-test should better achievement for the experimental group than the control group.
