A1 الكرعاوي، ميري عبد زيد عبد الحسين A2 شناوة، جبار رشك AB The current study aims at knowing the measure of using Oral history as a teaching approach to recognize the opinions of teachers of history in Al – Qadissiya Governorate. To achieve this aim the researcher has used a questionnaire of his own consists of (26) items and the reliability of the questionnaire was found – by (test – retest), the research applied his questionnaire for a sample consists of (170) teachers from intermediate, secondary and preparatory schools in the Governorate. That was with the beginning of the second season 2009 – 2010. The data has been treated statistically by using (T – test) , the person correlation coefficient The result have shown the effectiveness about using oral history as a teaching approach by teachers of history in teaching historical subjects. Also the inactivity of using Oral history as a teaching approach in teaching historical subjects due to sex variable (male – Female). The result were explained according to what the researcher had gained and the researcher recommends certain suggestions.
