It was the research community of students from the Institute of Fine Arts for the academic year 2013-2014 The research sample consists( 120 ) students were randomly selected simple and adopted the search test standardized tool has been the results showed that there was no correlation between the level of artistic taste and academic achievement among students in the light of these findings , the researcher recommended the use of a measure of artistic taste , which was used in the search current students in the admission of applicants to the Institute of Fine Arts for Girls in Diyala.
