A2 حسين، محمد جاسم AB This study aim to discover the impact of teaching according to spider map in amending alternative perceptions to some of the chemical concepts for scientific fourth grade students and the development of their inferential thinking. The sample of the study was consisted of experimental group which studied according to the spider map and control group, which studied according to traditional method. The researchers prepared a test to alternative perceptions and adoption of inductive thinking test for Saleh (2012). After the application of the research experience, data were analyzed using (t-test) for two independent samples, and reached the following results: there are alternative perceptions in chemical concepts as much as more than (30%) and there are differences statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of students of experimental and control groups to test alternative conceptions and the development of indicative thinking and for the benefit of the experimental group. In light of the results researchers gave a number of recommendations and proposals.
