A2 شاكر، جمال A2 قدومي، عبد الرحيم محمد AB The aim of this study was to identify the level of group cohesion amongst team sports players at Palestinian universities, in addition to determine the differences in the level of group cohesion according to university and team sports variables. The sample of study was consisted of 120 players. The Group Environment Questionnaire (GEQ) (Carron, Brawley, & Widmeyer, 1985) was used to measure the group cohesion. The GEQ is consisting of 34 items and distributed into four domains. The results revealed that the level of group cohesion amongst team sports players at Palestinian universities was high, and the percentage for the total score was (76.4%). The ranks order of GEQ domains were as follow: domain of group integration- social (83.2%); domain of group integration task (77.8%); domain of individual attraction to the group-task (74.8%); and domain of individual attraction to the group- social (69.8%). Furthermore, the results showed significant statistical differences in the domain of group integration-social according to university variable. Based on the findings, the researchers recommended focusing on group cohesion in the university team’s formation.
