A1 محمد، زهير نور الدائم. AB Environmental education (EE) aimed at addressing wise exploitation of natural resources by man in a manner which grantees its sustainability. Thus EE provides different sectors of the community with suitable doses of its objectives and goals. This paper aimed to study and analyze the EE in the syllabi of the basic schools, secondary schools and universities in Libya. The methodology adopted was based on studying and analyzing the pre-university and Sebha university syllabi. A table explaining the objectives and the goals of EE was designed. Based on the table the status of EE in Libyan syllabi was analyzed. The study showed incorporation of doses of EE at the different education levels. To enhance the objectives and goals of EE, the paper suggested the inclusion of more and diversified doses of field training, make use of the media in awareness rising and adoption of specialization in the different universities with respect to its geographical location and the prevailing environmental problems.
