هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع التخطيط لتهيئة جامعة طيبة لتحقيق سياسات التصنيف العالمي للجامعات، والتوصل إلى تصور مقترح لتهيئة جامعة طيبة لتحقيق سياسات التصنيف العالمي للجامعات. إعتمدت الدراسة المنهج النوعي، إذ أجريت مقابلات نوعية مع عينة قصدية تمثلت في 14 مستجيبا، جميعهم من أصحاب القرار وأعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة طيبة بالمدينة المنورة، من مختلف كليات الجامعة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود إجماع على سياسات التصنيف بين مؤسسات التصنيف العالمي للجامعات من ناحية الأهداف وأساليب جمع البيانات، والمعايير والمؤشرات المستخدمة في التصنيف. كما توصلت إلى أن هناك توجها عاما في الجامعة للمنافسة في التصنيف العالمي للجامعات. وكشفت الدراسة عن وجود عدة معوقات، قد تحول دون مشاركة الجامعة في التصنيف العالمي للجامعات، تتعلق بالموارد البشرية، والنواحي الإدارية، والنواحي المادية. وفي ضوء ذلك، أوصت الدراسة بزيادة الوعي بمفاهيم التصنيف العالمي للجامعات وثقافته وسياساته على جميع المستويات في الجامعة بمختلف الوسائل، مثل المحاضرات والندوات والمؤتمرات. كما أوصت الدراسة بتبني التصور المقترح الذي يتعلق بتهيئة جامعة طيبة لتحقيق سياسات التصنيف العالمي للجامعات من خلال خطوات تطويرية مرتبطة بالنواحي البشرية والإدارية والمادية. The study aimed to identify the reality of planning for preparing Taibah University to achieve the global ranking policies of the universities, and reach perception of a proposal for preparing Taibah University to achieve the global ranking policies of the universities. The study was qualitative approach, where the quality of the interviews were conducted with deliberate sample consisted of 24 respondents, all of whom are officials and faculty members Taibah University in Medina, from various faculties of Taibah University in Medina. The study concluded there is a consensus on the classification policies between the institutions of the world rankings of universities in terms of the objectives and methods of data collection, criteria and indicators used in the classification. The results also showed that there is a general trend in the university to compete in the world rankings of universities. The study revealed the existence of obstacles, may prevent the participation of the university in the rankings of universities, related to human resources, and administrative aspects, and material aspects. The study recommended increasing awareness of the concepts and culture policies rankings of universities, at all levels in the university through various means such as lectures, seminars and conferences. Also, the study recommended the adoption of the proposed visualization which concerns for preparing Taibah University to achieve the global ranking policies of the universities, through the steps linked to developmental aspects of human, administrative and physical.
