هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر التعلم الذاتي على التحصيل الفوري والمؤجل لدى طالبات ثانوية صفية بنت عبد المطلب بجدة في مادة كيمياء 3. استخدمت الباحثة المنهج شبه التجريبي، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من طالبات الصف الثالث ثانوي بنفس الثانوية أما عينة البحث فتكونت من شعبة (5) وعددهن (30) طالبة تم تقسيمهن إلى مجموعتين متساويتين إحداهما تجريبية والأخرى ضابطة. واستخدمت الاختبار كأداة للبحث. وتوصلت إلى فاعلية التعلم الذاتي في زيادة التحصيل المؤجل دون وجود تأثير واضح على التحصيل الفوري. وأوصت الدراسة باستخدام التعلم الذاتي في التدريس، عقد دورات للمعلمين حول التعلم الذاتي. The study aimed to know the effect of self-learning on the immediate and delayed achievement of high school student SBA in Jeddah in chemistry 3. It used the quasi-experimental approach, and the study population consisted of third-year secondary school students in the same secondary school, while the research sample consisted of Division (5) and numbered (30) students who were divided into two equal groups, one experimental and the other controlling. The test was used as a research tool. And it found the effectiveness of self-learning in increasing the delayed achievement without having a clear effect on the immediate achievement.
