The present study aimed at investigating the effect of the use of educational games in developing the skill of reading aloud among the basic second grade students in Qweismeh District. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the quasi-experimental method, a note card containing a set of skills and behavioral indicators referring to it, and a reading text that students read aloud after confirming the validity and reliability of the study tool. The study sample consisted of (60) students, who were deliberately selected, and were randomly distributed into two divisions; the first one was an experimental group (30) male and female students who studied in educational games, and the second one was control group (30) male and female student who studied in the ordinary way. The results of the study showed that there is an effect for the educational games in developing reading aloud and developing each skill of the reading skills in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which is the employment and investment of educational games strategy in teaching students of the first three grades.
