تشكل قضية تطوير التعليم والارتقاء بجودته من أهم القضايا الملحة إقليميا وعالمياً وذلك نظرا لما يمثله هذا القطاع من أهمية بالغة، لاسيما وأن الاستثمار في العنصر البشري هو قاطرة التغيير في المجتمع، والأداة الفاعلة لمواكبة كافة التطورات التكنولوجية والثورة المعرفية التي يشهدها العالم. وفي هذا السياق بادرت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، بتطوير أنظمة التعليم وتحسين مخرجاته من خلال عدة آليات ومبادرات، ساهمت نسبيا في تراجع المنظومة التقليدية التي عانت لسنوات من تحديات مزمنة، والتركيز على مخرجات التعليم للتناغم مع متطلبات سوق العمل، ولتتماشى كذلك مع الخطط الإستراتيجية للدولة والمتمثلة في رؤية الإمارات 2021 وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة، وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن الدولة والمجتمع في مرحلة إدارك أهمية تطوير التعليم بشكل ديناميكي. من منطلق الاستثمار في التعليم النوعي من جهة، ورفع مستوى مخرجات التعليم لتكون قادرة على مواكبة العصر ومتطلباته التكنولوجية والمعلوماتية وتعزيز اقتصاد المعرفة والقدرة على الإبداع والابتكار من جهة أخرى. The issue of developing education and improving its quality is one of the most pressing issues regionally and globally, given the importance of this sector, especially as investment in the human element is the locomotive of change in society and an effective tool to cope with all the technological developments and the knowledge revolution that is taking place in the world. The United Arab Emirates has developed educational systems and improved its outputs through several mechanisms and initiatives that have contributed relatively to the decline of the traditional system, which has suffered for years from chronic challenges, focusing on education outputs to match the requirements of the labor market, The UAE's strategic plans and vision of the UAE 2021 and achieving sustainable development. The study concluded that the state and society are at a stage that recognizes the importance of developing education dynamically, as this sector represents an important axis in the areas of sustainable development that the state seeks to achieve, and in terms of investing in quality education on the one hand and raising the output of education to be able to cope with the age and its requirements.
