تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل وتقويم مقرر الجغرافيا للصف الثاني الثانوي ومدى تحقيقه لأهداف الجغرافيا بالمرحلة الثانوية. حاول الباحث في هذه الدراسة معالجة مشكلة البحث المتمثلة في الى أي مدى يحقق مقرر جغرافيا الصف الثاني الاهداف العلمية الحديثة في مجال الجغرافيا. كما حاول الباحث التحقق من صحة الفروض من خلال نتائج الإستبانة التي وزعت على معلمي مادة الجغرافيا بالمرحلة الثانوية. إتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي بإعتباره أنسب مناهج البحث العلمي في تناول مشكلة الدراسة حيث تهدف البحوث الوصفية إلى وصف الظواهر والأحداث والمشكلات وصفاً علمياً محدداً لملامحها، وجمع الحقائق والمعلومات ووصف الظروف الخاصة بها وتقدير حالتها كما توجد عليه في الواقع. يضم مجتمع الدراسة معلمي ومعلمات مادة الجغرافيا بالمرحلة الثانوية المشاركين في تصحيح إمتحانات الشهادة الثانوية السودانية لعام 2016 م وقد إختار الباحث منهم عينة عشوائية تضم (50) معلماً ومعلمة وزعت عليهم الإستبانة، حيث توصل الباحث من خلال المعالجات الإحصائية لإستجاباتهم للنتائج الآتية: تتفق أهداف مقرر الجغرافيا للصف الثاني الثانوي مع الأهداف العامة لتدريس الجغرافيا. المحتوى يركز على الجانب المعرفي وغير ملائم لميول التلاميذ وغير مناسب مع الزمن المخصص له في الخطة الدراسية ولا يتماشى مع الإمكانيات المتاحة في المدارس. The study aimed to analyze and evaluate the Geography syllabus at 2nd Secondary Schools and to how it achieves the Geography objectives at the Secondary Stage. The problem of the study is represented in the non-keeping pace of the content of the Geography syllabus at 2nd Secondary Schools to the modern scientific developments in the field of Geography, where the researcher attempted to verify the authenticity of the hypotheses, through the questionnaire results that had been distributed to the teachers of Geography at the secondary stage. The researcher used the descriptive method as the most appropriate in tackling this problem. The community of the study included male and female teachers of Geography at the secondary stage participating in the correction of the Sudanese Secondary Certificate Examinations for the academic year 2016, where the researcher selected a random sample comprises of (50) male and female teachers, each of them given a form of the questionnaire. The most important results of the study: 1) The objectives of the Geography syllabus at 2nd class at the Secondary Schools are agree with the general objectives for teaching geography subject. 2) The content of syllabus highlighted on the cognitive aspect, which wasn’t appropriate with the tendencies of the students and that the time given in the study plan didn’t comply with the available possibilities in the schools. 3) That the evaluation didn’t link with the objectives of the Geography syllabus and not use to check the power and weakness for the students and didn’t help the students on developing the scientific thinking. The researcher recommended as follows: 1) To work on reorganization the content of the geography syllabus for the 2nd class at the secondary stage to achieve the required correlation between the previous and the post classes. 2) To provide the learning means at the schools to encourage teachers morally and materially for producing and using the learning means. 3) The evaluation should be comprehensive for all learner’s aspects and not only for the cognitive aspects.
