The study aimed at identify the effectiveness and impact of a proposed program in light of (4-H) model in improving the life skills and science processes relating to the science subjects taught to the elementary 8th grade female students in Gaza, in order to achieve such a goal, the study problem has been defined through the following questions: 1) What life skills are included in the (4-H) program which needs to be further improved for the elementary 8th grade female students? 2) What are the science processes which need to be further improved for the elementary 8th grade female students? 3) What is proposed for improving the life skills and science processes in light of (4-H) model? 4) Are there any statistically significant differences between the average responses of the female students in the experimental group and those of the control group in rerolling to the life skills assessment scale? 5) Are there any statistically significant differences between the average scores of the female students in the experimental group and those of the control group rerolling to the science processes test? To achieve the study results, the researcher used the semi-experimental method. The researcher adopted three data collection tools which include: (A test for science processes, a list containing life skills, life skills assessment scale), thereafter the proposed program was designed to develop the life skills and science processes and provided to a group of competent arbitrators. The tools were applied on 88 female students in the elementary 8th grade of Hamama Elementary Girls School in Gaza, the female students were divided into two groups; experimental group (44) and control group (44). The results were gathered and analyzed by using various statistical methods such as SPSS statistical software. The results showed that in light of (4-H) model the proposed program proved to be effective in improving the life skills and science processes relating to the science subjects taught to the elementary 8th grade female students in Gaza, there were statistically significant differences at a level of significance (α≥..0) between the average scores of the female students of the study sample in the experimental group and those of the control group in the science processes test and life skills assessment scale, which showed that they were in favor of the experimental group. In light of the current study results, the researcher recommended that it's an necessary to use the (4-H) model in teaching science subjects, taking into account the need to restructure the contents of the science subjects to make sure (4-H) model is fully integrated, she also indicated the need to conduct trainings for the teachers on how to employ such model by holding training courses. The researcher also recommended to pay attention to the development and assessment of life skills of students on a continuous basis especially during the elementary education stage.
