The study aimed at designing an e-learning environment that employs active learning strategies and measuring their effectiveness in the development of the skills of the future thinking in technology among seventh grade students. An achievement test, a questionnaire, and interviews to measure future thinking skills in unit 4 (Green Revolution). The study was applied to a sample of (70) female students randomly divided in two groups (control and experimental) from Ailboan Primary Co-ed School in East Khan Younis educational district. The researcher used the descriptive approach, the experimental method and the qualitative approach to conduct her study. The main findings of the study: 1) There were statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the mean scores of the female students in the control group in the post-test of future thinking skills in favor of the experimental group. 2) There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group female students and the mean scores of the female students of the control group in questionnaire of the future thinking skills in favor of the female students of the experimental group. 3) There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the mean score of the control group students in interviews of future thinking skills in favor of the experimental group students. 4) The electronic learning environment achieves an efficiency of more than (1.2) according to the average rate of growth in the development of future thinking skills. The main recommendations: Raising the level of teachers' interest in using the e-learning environment based on active learning strategies in developing future thinking skills. (Author's abstract)
