هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر استخدام طريقة التعلم التعاوني على التحصيل والدافعية نحو الرياضيات لدى طُلاب الصف السادس الأساسي في الأردن، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم بناء اختبار التحصيل في الرياضيات، وهو اختبار موضوعي مكون من 30)) فقرة، ومقياس الدافعية نحو تعلم الرياضيات وهو مقياس مكون من (40) فقرة. طُبقت الدراسة على (42) طالباً اختيروا بطريقة قصدية من مدرسة المفرق الأساسية الأولى للبنين، وقد وزعتْ عشوائياً إلى مجموعتين: تجريبية جرى تدريسها باستخدام طريقة التعلم التعاوني، وتكونت من (22) طالباً، وضابطة جرى تدريسها باستخدام الطريقة الاعتيادية، وتكونت من (20) طالباً. وطُبق الاختبار التحصيلي ومقياس الدافعية نحو تعلم الرياضيات قبليًا وبعديًا بعد التأكد من خصائصهما السيكومترية على مجموعتي الدِّراسة. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدِّراسة، وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) بين المتوسطين الحسابيين المُعدّلين لأداء أفراد الدراسة على فقرات اختبار التحصيل في الرياضيات يُعزى لمتغير طريقة التدريس ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية التي خضعت للتدريس باستخدام طريقة التعلم التعاوني، كذلك أظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدالة (α=0.05) بين المتوسطين الحسابيين المُعدّلين لتقديرات أفراد الدراسة على فقرات مقياس الدافعية نحو تعلم الرياضيات تعزى لأي من الطريقتين الاعتيادية، والتعلم التعاوني. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج تم صياغة بعض التوصيات. This study aimed to investigate the impact of the use of cooperative learning on the academic achievement of the basic sixth grade students in Jordan. It also aimed at getting the mathematics achievement test, it is an objective test consisting of (30) items, the measure of motivation toward learning mathematics which is a scale consisted of (40) items. The study was applied on (42) students were chosen intentionally of Al-Mafraq first basic school for boys. They were distributed randomly into two groups: experimental group which has been taught by using the method (cooperative learning) consisted of (22) students and control group was taught by using regular instruction which consisted of (20) students. The study used the achievement test and motivation measurement toward learning mathematics for pre and post test on two groups after confirming its psychometric characteristics. The results of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences (α≤0.05) between the two amending averages of the performance of members of the study according to the items of the achievement test in mathematics combined due to teaching method in favor of the experimental group, which have been taught by using the method (cooperative learning), the study results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences (α≤0.05) between the amending averages in favour of estimates of members of the study on the motivation scale items toward learning mathematics combined due to any of the methods (regular and cooperative learning). According to the results of the study a number of related recommendations were presented. (Author’s abstract)
