AB - هدف البحث التعرف على مستوى نوعية الحياة وكفاءة المواجهة لدى طلبة المرحلة الإعدادية، ومعرفة العلاقة بين نوعية الحياة وكفاءة المواجهة، فضلا عن التعرف على الفروق في مستوى نوعية الحياة وكفاءة المواجهة وفقا لمتغيري الجنس (ذكور - إناث) والفرع (العلمي - الأدبي). اختيرت عينة عشوائية طبقية تناسبية بلغت (669) طالبا وطالبة من الصف الخامس الإعدادي. قام الباحث بإعداد مقياس نوعية الحياة واعتمد على مقياس كفاءة المواجهة المعد من قبل المرسومي (2020)، وتم التحقق من الصدق الظاهري لأدوات البحث بعرضها على عدد من الخبراء والمحكمين، كما تم حساب القوة التمييزية للأدوات وتم حساب الثبات بطريقتي إعادة الاختبار وإلفا كرونباخ. عولجت البيانات إحصائيا باستخدام الحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) فضلا عن استخدام عدد من الوسائل الإحصائية الأخرى كمعامل الارتباط والاختبار الزائي. أظهرت النتائج ما يأتي: 1) تمتع طلبة المرحلة الإعدادية بمستوى عال من نوعية الحياة. 2) تمتع طلبة المرحلة الإعدادية بمستوى جيد من كفاءة المواجهة. 3) وجود علاقة ارتباطيه ايجابية دالة إحصائيا بين نوعية الحياة وكفاءة المواجهة. 4) عدم وجود فرق دال إحصائيا في مستوى نوعية الحياة وفقا لمتغيري الجنس والتخصص، ويوجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في كفاءة المواجهة وفقا المتغير الجنس ولصالح الذكور ووفقا لمتغير التخصص ولصالح الفرع الأدبي. كما توصل الباحث إلى مجموعة من الاستنتاجات والتوصيات والمقترحات. AB - The aim of the research is to identify the level of quality of life and confronting efficiency among preparatory school students, and to know the relationship between quality of life and coping efficiency, as well as to identify the level between quality of life and confronting efficiency according to gender (male/female) and branch (scientific - literary). A sample was chosen. Proportional stratified randomization of (669) male and female students from the fifth-year preparatory school. The researcher prepared the quality-of-life scale and relied on the confrontation efficiency scale prepared by Al-Marsumi (2020). The face validity of the research tools was verified by presenting it to a number of experts and jurors. The discriminative power of the tools was also calculated, and the reliability was calculated by retesting and Cronbach's Elpha methods. The data were treated statistically using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) as well as using a number of other statistical methods such as correlation coefficient and sampling test. The results showed the following: 1) Preparatory school students enjoy a high level of quality of life. 2) The preparatory stage students have a good level of confrontational efficiency. 3) There is a positive, statistically significant correlation between quality of life and confrontational efficiency. 4) There are statistically significant differences in the relationship between quality of life and confrontational efficiency according to the variables of gender (male - female) and branch (scientific - literary).
