AB - هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف مفهوم التعليم من أجل التنمية المستدامة، وأهميته في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة بالمجتمعات، وأهم سمات تعليم STEM في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وكيف تم استخدامه كأداة لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة بالمجتمع الأمريكي من خلال إعداد الكفاءات في مجالات العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات، وكذلك أهم سمات تعليم STEM في مصر وأهميته في إعداد أجيال قادرة على المنافسة عالميا ومواجهة تحديات العصر. وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي لمناسبته لموضوع الدراسة. كما تم إعداد استبانة لاستطلاع رأى الخبراء حول محاور التصور المقترح؛ حيث بلغت عينة الدراسة 103 خبير من بين أساتذة التربية، والقيادات التعليمية، والخبراء في تعليم STEM. وأسفرت الدراسة عن عدد من النتائج أهمها: ارتباط العلوم والتكنولوجيا بكافة جوانب الحياة، وتزايد الاعتماد عليها كأداة لحل العديد من المشكلات والقضايا الملحة، وأهمية إعطاء الموضوعات الخاصة بالتنمية المستدامة أولوية في المناهج الدراسية من مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة وصولا إلى إعداد المعلمين، ودمج مبادئ وقيم وممارسات التنمية المستدامة في جميع جوانب التعليم والتعلم، والاتجاه العالمي إلى تفعيل مدخل STEM في التعليم لما له من دور فعال في تدريس الموضوعات المعرفية في سياقات متكاملة تجمع بين الجوانب العلمية والتكنولوجية والهندسية والرياضية. AB - The research paper aimed to identify the concept of education for sustainable development, its importance in achieving sustainable development in the communities, and the most important features of STEM education in the United States, and how it was used as a tool to achieve sustainable development in the American community through the preparation of competencies in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics who are capable through what has been acquired of skills of innovation, design, critical thinking and others to solve social problems, and achieve economic and social growth, and make changes in the society and the planet as a whole, as well as the most important features of STEM education in Egypt and its importance in preparing generations able to compete globally and meet the challenges of the era . The descriptive method was used as it suits the subject of the study. A questionnaire was prepared for the expert concerning the axes of the proposal. The study sample consisted of 103 experts including educational professors, educational leaders and experts in STEM education. The study resulted in a number of findings including: linking science and technology with all aspects of life, increasing reliance on them as a tool to solve many pressing problems and urgent issues; and the importance of giving priority to sustainability topics in the curriculum from early childhood to the preparation of teachers, and the integration of the principles, values and practices of sustainable development in All aspects of teaching and learning, and the global trend to activate the STEM approach in education because of its effective role in teaching cognitive topics in integrated contexts combining scientific, technological, engineering and mathematical aspects.
