AB - هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور القيادة التحويلية في تعزيز جودة الإشراف العلمي على طلبة الدراسات العليا في جامعة جدة من وجهة نظرهم، والكشف عن الفروق الإحصائية بين استجابات أفراد العينة حول دور القيادة التحويلية في تعزيز جودة الإشراف العلمي وفقاً لمتغيري الكلية، ونوع البرنامج. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (255) طالب دراسات عليا من طلبة الدراسات العليا في جامعة جدة. وتوصلت نتائج الدارسة إلى أن دور القيادة التحويلية في تعزيز جودة الإشراف العلمي على طلبة الدراسات العليا في جامعة جدة من وجهة نظرهم جاء بدرجة عالية جداً بمتوسط حسابي (4.57)، وجاء بُعد التأثير المثالي كأهم دور بمتوسط حسابي (4.59)، يليه بُعد التحفيز الإلهامي بمتوسط حسابي (4.58)، يليه بُعد الاستثارة العقلية بمتوسط حسابي (4.55)، وأخيراً بُعد رعاية الأفراد واحتياجاتهم بمتوسط حسابي (4.55). كما توصلت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات أفراد العينة حول دور القيادة التحويلية في تعزيز جودة الإشراف العلمي تعزى لنوع الكلية لصالح الكليات العلمية، وعدم وجود فروق تعزى لنوع البرنامج، وفي ضوء النتائج قدمت الدراسة بعض التوصيات. AB - The study aimed to identify the role of transformational leadership in enhancing the quality of academic supervision for graduate students at Jeddah University from their perspective, and revealing the statistical differences between the responses of the sample members regarding the role of transformational leadership in enhancing the quality of academic supervision due to the variables of college and program type, the study used the descriptive-analytical method and a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The study sample consisted of (255) postgraduate students from the postgraduate students at Jeddah University. The study concluded that the role of transformational leadership in enhancing the quality of scientific supervision of graduate students at Jeddah University, from their point of view, was very high (M= 4.57). It came after the ideal influence as the most important role (M=4.59), followed by the inspirational motivation role (M= 4.58), followed by the mental stimulation role (M=4.55), and finally the care of individuals and their needs (M= 4.55). The results also showed statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample regarding the role of transformational leadership in enhancing the quality of scientific supervision due to the type of college in favor of scientific colleges, and there were no differences due to the type of program.
