AB - هدف البحث إلى تعرف فاعلية برنامج قائم على علم النفس الوظيفي لتنمية التفكير الاستدلالي لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (30) طالبة من طالبات الصف الثالث الثانوي بمدرسة علم الدين الثانوية بنات بمحافظة بورسعيد، وقد اتبعت الباحثة المنهج التجريبي بتصميمه شبه التجريبي، وتمثلت أداة البحث في اختبار التفكير الاستدلالي (إعداد الباحثة)، والذي اشتمل على ثلاثة أنماط للاستدلال (الاستدلال الاحتمالي - الاستدلال الارتباطي - الاستدلال التمثيلي)، وفي ضوء قائمة أنماط التفكير الاستدلالي تم بناء البرنامج المقترح القائم على علم النفس الوظيفي، وقد توصل البحث إلى وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.01) بين متوسطي درجات طالبات مجموعة الدراسة في القياسين القبلي والبعدي لاختبار التفكير الاستدلالي في أنماط (الاستدلال الاحتمالي - الاستدلال الارتباطي - الاستدلال التمثيلي)، والاختبار ككل لصالح القياس البعدي. AB - The aim of the research is to know the effectiveness of a program based on functional psychology to develop the reasoning thinking of high school students. The sample of the study consisted of (30) female senior secondary school students in Port Said, Egypt. The researcher followed the experimental approach with its semi-experimental design. The research tool was the test of reasoning thinking, prepared by the researcher, which included three types of inference: (Probabilistic Reasoning - Analogical reasoning - Correlation Reasoning). In consideration of the list of reasoning thinking patterns, the proposed program based on functional psychology was built. The research has found a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the study group average scores in the pre and post measurements of the test of reasoning thinking, in (probabilistic inference, associative inference, and representative inference) patterns, and the test as a whole in favor of the post measurement.
