AB - This study aimed to analyze the factors affecting the success of the university lecture and the academic performance of the student through the use of the elements of the marketing mix in the analysis. To achieve the study the descriptive approach was used in the research through a questionnaire consists of seven dimensions, and the research was applied to a random sample of Palestine Technical University whose size reached (300) male and female students. The study has shown a set of results, the most important of which is the significant impact of the size of the book that is taught on the student’s acceptance of the book’s content, and that the scientific subject linked to the practical life has a high effect on the student's acceptance of it and his interest in understanding the lecture. The study also showed that the personality of the lecturer, his methods of teaching and his way of managing the time of the lecture have a clear impact on the student's assimilation of the information he receives, and that there is a very clear impact of the classrooms in terms of ventilation and lighting as well as the scientific and electronic teaching equipment to enhance the understanding of the students. In light of these results, a set of recommendations was presented, the most important of which is to avoid long books when selecting the textbooks which reflects on the student’s frustration in studying them, and the scientific subject that is taught to be of a real and clear link for the student with the practical life, and giving the lecturers courses in teaching methods due to the great importance of the teaching methods on the student and his desire to learn, and paying attention to the lecture halls in terms of equipment that ensures comfort during the lecture and electronic equipment that enhance student understanding. I also recommend conducting future research to analyze the marketing mix of the lecture, because this study was on one university, so the results need more research and a broader segment, and taking other variables such as type of specialization.
