AB - هدف البحث إلى التعرف على مدى استخدام معلمات الرياضيات بالمرحلة الثانوية لمهارة توليد إدراكات جديدة إحدى مهارات التفكير الجانبي في المملكة العربية السعودية، ولتحقيق هدف البحث والإجابة عن تساؤلاته اتبعت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي، وأعدت الباحثة لهذا الغرض أداة البحث الاستبانة المكونة من مهارة رئيسية واحدة ويندرج تحتها (10) مهارات فرعية، تم تطبيقها على (212) معلمة من معلمات الرياضيات بالمرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة جدة من مجتمع البحث البالغ (441) معلمة رياضيات بالمرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة جدة. وكانت أهم نتائج البحث كالآتي جاءت الدرجة الكلية لاستخدام معلمات الرياضيات بالمرحلة الثانوية لمهارة توليد إدراكات جديدة عالية بمتوسط (4.11 من 5.0)، حيث أتت العبارة (أحرص على إبراز كل المعلومات المتاحة لحل المسألة أثناء الشرح) في المرتبة الأولى بمتوسط (4.39 من 5.0)، بينما أتت العبارة (أحرص على التطبيق العملي لحل المسائل الرياضية في الواقع العملي) في المرتبة الأخيرة بمتوسط (3.83من 5.0). وفي ضوت نتائج البحث قدمت الباحثة مجموعة من التوصيات من أهمها إثراء مناهج الرياضيات في المراحل المختلفة بالأنشطة التي تساعد المعلمين والمعلمات على تنمية مهارات التفكير الجانبي لدى الطلبة، إعداد مواد تعليمية ذاتية تفاعلية لبرامج التفكير تقدم للطلبة والمعلمين كمواد إثرائية، تصميم وبنات دليل للمعلم بحيث يتضمن قائمة للمهارات بشكل عام وقائمة لمهارات التفكير الجانبي بشكل خاص. AB - The aim of this study is to examine the extent to which mathematics teachers at the secondary stage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia use the skill of generating new perceptions, one of the lateral thinking skills. A descriptive method, plus preparation of a questionnaire consisting of one major skill with (10) sub-skills fall under it, applied to (212) female mathematics teachers at the secondary stage in Jeddah governorate out of a research population of (441) female mathematics teacher at the secondary stage in Jeddah governorate. The most important results of the research were as follows: The total score for the use of the skill of generating new perceptions by mathematics teachers at the secondary stage was high, with an average of (4.11 out of 5.0), where the phrase (I make sure to highlight all available information to solve the problem during the explanation) ranked first with an average of (4.39 out of 5.0), while the phrase "I am keen on the practical application of solving mathematical problems in practice) ranked last, with an average of (3.83 out of 5.0). In light of the research findings, the researcher presented a set of recommendations including: - Enrich mathematics curricula at various stages with activities that help teachers to develop students' lateral thinking skills - Prepare interactive self-learning materials for thinking programs that are presented to students and teachers as enriching materials - Design and create a teacher's guide that includes a list of skills in general and a list of lateral thinking skills in particular.
