AB - The research aims to uncover the effect of using the performance tasks on acquiring the knowledge of the scientific research and developing its basic skills among the female students teachers at the faculty of home economics - Arish University. The researcher prepares the performance tasks and an achievement test as well as a scientific research evaluation card to evaluate the scientific research skills. The results show that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the ranks of the research group scores in the pre/post applications of the achievement test and of the scientific research evaluation card in favour of the post application.
