AB - هدف البحث إلى تعرف ماهية إدارة المشروعات الصغيرة، وتحديد أهم الاتجاهات العالمية المعاصرة في ذلك، ثم تحديد أوجه الاستفادة من هذه الاتجاهات في تنمية وإدارة المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في مصر والوطن العربي، ولتحقيق ذلك استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي بخطواته (الوصف - التحليل - التفسير - التنبؤ)، ويتكون البحث من ثلاثة محاور رئيسة: المحور الأول عرض الأسس الفكرية لإدارة المشروعات من خلال تحديد مفهومها - أهدافها - أهميتها - خصائصها، مبادئها - عملياتها - المقومات الرئيسة لنجاحها، المحور الثاني تناول أهم الاتجاهات العالمية المعاصرة في إدارة المشروعات الصغيرة (الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية - كندا - بريطانيا - كوريا - اليابان)، وانتهى البحث بالمحور الثالث وتم فيه عرض أهم مبادرات الإصلاح التي قدمتها بعض الدول العربية، ثم أوجه الاستفادة من الاتجاهات العالمية في إدارة المشروعات في مصر والوطن العربي. AB - The research aimed to know the essence of small Projects management and identify the most important contemporary global trends in that. Then, determine the ways to benefit from these trends in the development and management of small and medium enterprises in Egypt and the Arab world. To achieve this, the research used the descriptive approach in its steps: (description - analysis - interpretation - prediction), the research consists of three main axes: The first axis presents the intellectual foundations of project management by defining its concept - its objectives - its importance - its characteristics, principles - its operations - the main components of its success, the second axis deals with the most important contemporary global trends in managing small projects (the United States of America - Canada - Britain- Korea - Japan). The research ended with the third axis in which the most important reform initiatives presented by some Arab countries were presented, and then ways to benefit from global trends in project management in Egypt and the Arab world.
