AB - هدف البحث إلى التعرف إلى السمات الشخصية والأكاديمية التي يتمتع بها الطلبة الحاصلون على جوائز في المسابقات العلميّة الدوليّة، استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي بطريقة العينة القصدية؛ فصمم استمارة لجمع البيانات عن سمات الطلبة الفائزين بالجوائز الدولية في مدارس الخندق الأهلية بالمدينة المنورة، والتقى مع بعضهم ومع المشرفين عليهم. وتوصل إلى عدة نتائج، من أهمها: أن الموهبة والتفوق يحتاجان إلى رعاية وتعاون بين البيت والمدرسة، وأن التدريب المستمر على أساليب الاختبارات الدولية يحول الطالب العادي إلى طالب منافس عالمياً، ومن سمات الطلبة الموهوبين أنهم لا يهتمون كثيرا بمظهرهم الشخصي، ونشاطهم البدني، وعلاقاتهم مع الآخرين، ولا يفضلون الالتزام التام بأنظمة المدرسة. وأوصى الباحث بما يلي: أن تترك المدارس مساحة من الحرية للطلبة الموهوبين، ولا تلزمهم بأنظمة المدرسة بصرامة، وأن تهتم المدارس بإشراك الطلبة المتميزين في الأنشطة الرياضية، وأن تحثهم على الأعمال الجماعية. AB - The aim of the research is to identify the most important personal and academic traits that distinguish students who participate in international scientific competitions, the researcher used the descriptive methodology. A form was designed and Reviewed by a committee to collect data about the traits of the students who won international awards in Al-Khandaq Private Schools in Medina, and personal interviews were conducted with contributors and their supervisors. The research reached to several results, the most important of which were: The talented student may not care much about his appearance and physical activity. The talented students do not care much about relationships and communication with others also they do not like strict regulations. The researcher recommended the following: Schools should leave some freedom for gifted students and not force them to adhere to school regulations.
