AB - هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة ممارسة أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة حائل- فرع الشملي لمهارات الاتصال الفعال وأثرها على الأداء الوظيفي، والتعرف إلى مقترحات تطوير مهارات الاتصال الفعال. لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الكمي، من خلال إعداد استبانة مكونة من (45) فقرة، وسؤال مفتوح، وُزعت على عينة مكونة من (263) طالبة من طالبات جامعة حائل- فرع الشملي. وبلغت نسبة العينة من المجتمع الكلي (45%)، الذي بلغ (580) طالبة. بعد حساب المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية تبين أن ممارسة أعضاء هيئة التدريس لمهارات الاتصال الفعال من وجهة نظر الطالبات جاءت بدرجة متوسطة. وتبين من تحليل التباين الثنائي واختبار شفيه للمقارنات البعدية عدم وجود فروق في درجة ممارسة أعضاء هيئة التدريس لمهارات الاتصال الفعال تعزى لمتغير السنة الدراسية، ووجود فروق تعزى لمتغير التخصص، لصالح التخصص العلمي. كما أشارت نتيجة التكرارات والنسب المئوية أن أبرز المقترحات التي جاءت لتطوير مهارات الاتصال الفعال لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس وأثرها على الأداء الوظيفي، المقترح الذي ينص على "إعداد البرامج والنشرات التربوية ووسائل الإعلام المرئية والمسموعة والمقروءة لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس"، حيث جاء في المرتبة الأولى، وبأعلى تكرار. توصي الدراسة بتطوير برامج تدريبية لتنمية مهارات الاتصال الفعال لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات، وعقد ورش هدفها تعريف أعضاء هيئة التدريس بأهمية مهارات الاتصال الفعال في العملية التعليمية. AB - The study aims to reveal the degree of the practice of effective communication skills by faculty members at the University of Hail - Al-Shamli branch and their impact on job performance, and identify proposals for developing effective communication skills. To achieve the objectives of the study, the quantitative descriptive approach was used, by preparing a questionnaire consisting of (45) items and an open question. The questionnaire was distributed among a sample of (263) female students from the University of Hail - Al-Shamli branch. The sample accounted for 45% of the total community, which reached (580) female students. After analyzing mean values and standard deviations, it was determined that faculty members' practice of effective communication skills, as perceived by female students, was at a moderate level. Further statistical tests, including two-way analysis of variance and Scheffe post-comparison tests, revealed no significant differences in communication skill practice based on academic year, but significant differences were found based on specialization, with a preference for scientific specialization. Additionally, when examining proposals to enhance faculty members' communication skills and their impact on job performance, the most frequently suggested approach was the creation of educational programs, bulletins, and audio-visual/print media resources for faculty members. Develop training programs to develop effective communication skills among faculty members at universities, and hold workshops aimed at introducing faculty members to the importance of effective communication skills in the educational process.
