AB - The aim of the research is to build a scale of neurotic needs for personality among middle school students in the city of Mosul, and the researchers used the descriptive approach. The building sample consisted of (400) male and female students, with (180) males and (220) females from the fifth grade preparatory students specializing in (scientific). The dimensions of the scale were determined according to the theory (Karen Horney), and after constructing the paragraphs of the scale, it was presented to a group of experts, and its psychometric characteristics (truthfulness and reliability) were extracted.
