AU - بني عبد الرحمن، عبد الباري عبد النبي محمد AB - The study aimed to identify degree of practicing participative leadership behavior by basic schools’ principals from secondary school teachers’ points of view at Al-Koura district directorate of education. The sample of the study consisted of randomly chosen (346) male and (251) female teachers. Moreover, to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive method was employed. The researcher developed a questionnaire to measure the level of principals’ practice of participative leadership behavior. After conducting the statistical analysis, the results of the study revealed that degree of practicing participative leadership behavior by basic schools’ principals was middle. In addition, there were statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) in the responses of the study sample about the practice of participative leadership by secondary school principals due to sex; the differences were in favor of females.
