AU - الخريشة، هبة نمر AB - هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن أثر استخدام تطبيق الواتس آب في الهاتف النقّال في تحصيل طلبة الصف الرابع في مادّة اللغة الإنجليزيّة، وقد استخدم المنهج شبه التجريبيّ. تكوّنت عيّنة الدراسة من (60) طالبًا من الصّف الرابع الأساسيّ من مدرسة إسعاف النشاشيبيّ الأساسيّة، لواء قصبة عمّان، للعام الدراسيّ 2017-2018، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قامت الباحثة بتقسيم الطلبة إلى مجموعتين: تجريبيّة وضابطة، متساويتي العدد، إذ كان طلبة المجموعتين التجريبيّة والضابطة يدرسون المادّة بالطريقة التقليدية معًا، ثم يقوم المعلّم بإرسال معلومات تعزيزية وتوضيحية عن المادّة التي دُرست في الحصّة إلى طلبة المجموعة التجريبيّة باستخدام تطبيق الواتس آب (WhatsApp). واستمرت عمليّة تنفيذ التجربة عامًا دراسيًا، وبعدها قامت الباحثة بإجراء اختبارٍ نهائيٍّ لطلبة المجموعتين معًا في آن واحد. واستُخدمت وسائل إحصائية مناسبة، وتوصّلت الباحثة إلى تفوّق طلبة المجموعة التجريبيّة في التحصيل على طلبة المجموعة الضابطة التي لم تستخدم التطبيق. وأوصت الباحثة بأهميّة استخدام تطبيقات الهاتف النقّال ومنها الواتس آب في عملية التدريس. The study employed quasi-experimental design. The sample of the study consisted of (30) students from the fourth grade of the Esa'af Al-Nashasheebi primary school\ the Directorate of Qasabat Amman District for the academic year 2017/2018. To achiever research objectives, the researcher divided the students into two equal experimental and control groups, the students of the experimental and control groups studied the material according to the usual method, the teacher then sent additional information about the material studied in the classroom to the students of the experimental group using the WhatsApp. The process of implementation of the experiment continued for a full academic year, and after that the researcher conducted a final test on the students of the two groups together at the same time. Statistical methods were used. The researcher found that the students in the experimental group who used the WhatsApp application have more educational achievement than those students of the control group who did not use the application. The researcher recommended the use of mobile phone applications such as WhatsApp in the teaching process.
