AU - الزهيري، عماد متعب محمد AU - الموسى، محمد سلامة AU - القضاة، يوسف AU - قوقزة، حمزة AB - This study aims to analyze the content of the 9th grade math textbook in Jordan within the framework of principles and standards of American National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, through identifying the availability degree of the standards of the mathematical connection, representation and communication. The researchers used descriptive analytical methodology. The sample of the study consisted of the 9th grade math textbook (part I) applied in Jordan since 2016-2017 year. In this study, the researchers developed the instrument including an analyzed checklist of mathematical content textbook according to the process’s standards (Connection, Representation, and Communication) stated in the document of (NCTM 2000). The reliability and validity of the instrument content analysis tool were verified. The study revealed that the standard of mathematical connection of the 9th grade class was the first, with an average degree of availability. The standard of mathematical communication was second, with a rare degree of availability, while the standard of mathematical representation was third, with a rare degree of availability. The study also concluded many recommendations; the most important were the specialists and the people in charge of developing the curriculum must recognize the international standards of the mathematical curriculum such as: (NCTM) and reconsider weak points of the mathematical curriculum.
